#FIGHTTHESTROKE FAMILIES COMMUNITY

Started up with a few families back in 2014, the closed group 'Families #FightTheStroke' on Facebook has become an extended and always active community, often the first point of arrival after diagnosis; it has been defined as 'a virtuous example of bottom-up collaboration, mutual help between equals and civic activism in the digital age', a motivation that has ensured its recognition as the Facebook Community Leadership Circles for the healthcare/parenting category.

It is aimed to support parents and caregivers of young stroke survivors with a cerebral palsy disability, to enter it you must answer all the filter questions and have a recognizable profile.
